Text Box: If you would like to join one of our cohort or student groups, we go in two week visits. You will be expected to complete 10 hours of teaching, advising, or mentoring during the first week at the school and visit the orphanages. During the second week, we will trek in the foothills of the Himalayas visiting local and indigenous communities or other cultural sites. Let us know if you have credentials in education, public health and medicine, business, housing, etc.

The cost is $1975 and that includes food, lodging, and transport but excludes airfare which can cost around $1500 round trip. We are working with travel agents to get a reduced rate. Flights to Lukla, Pokhara, or Chitwan National Park are generally $100 per person one way.

With our local hosts, Hem and Poonam Lama, we will have good accommodations with running hot water and access to medical care if necessary. Please have MedEx or check with your health care company for overseas coverage. Our transport will be as safe as possible and we will always travel with a local guide.

Please email Dr. Ed Kellerman for more information at ebbyguru@hotmail.com.
