Sujay Lama is the head coach of the University of North Texas women’s tennis team. Once the top ranked tennis player in Nepal, Sujay received his BA in Public Communication/Political Science with a Minor in International Studies from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He is a USTA and PTR certified high performance coach and has coached in Germany, South Carolina, Florida, and Illinois. |

Lynn Tan Lama, Sujay’s wife, serves as the IT coordinator for Project Nepal. Lynn is originally from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems and Novell Network certification, and has worked for numerous software and hardware development companies in Florida, Illinois, and now Texas. |

Ed Kellerman is a senior lecturer in the Dial Center for Written and Oral Communication at the University of Florida specializing in intercultural communication and study abroad programs. Ed serves as the Communications Director providing public relations and marketing for Project Nepal. He holds a doctorate of education degree from the University of Florida and will be serving as a group leader for cohort and student groups visiting Nepal.
JoAnne Russell, Wimbledon and NCAA tennis champion, is a professional tennis player and coach. Along with serving as Sujay’s assistant coach for many years, JoAnne has raised funds for Project Nepal through charitable events, celebrity exhibitions, and tennis clinics. She was instrumental in creating the scholarship program and continues to host numerous fundraising events throughout the year. She led a visit to Nepal with the cohort group in November 2007. |
